Asking for Help

Life can be wonderful, unpredictable and heartbreaking.  It is a series of natural and spontaneous changes.

Entering into therapy takes courage and can be a difficult process, but it holds the potential to be profoundly powerful, enriching and provokes lasting change.

Making the decision to seek counselling also requires the willingness to explore change. Cycles of change in one's life are like seasons; dynamic, unstoppable and hold potential for growth. I have learned over time to appreciate this, having been taught that each season carries its own highlights and challenges and can give way to wisdom and peace.

Many put themselves last on their long list of priorities or don’t place themselves on the list at all.  While therapy might seem like an investment of time and finances, it is imperative to remember that this is the most important investment of your life! Self love, compassion and care are of utmost importance. Allow yourself to be vulnerable to seek assistance and put yourself first.  Research shows that becoming vulnerable is where the true work begins.
